Following on from the Government announcement, we just wanted to let clients know that we are still delivering our service within guidelines. There isn't any need to stock up on extra medication during lock down and we do not anticipate any stock issues during the next month. It is not clear whether we will amend our scheduled non-essential appointments/procedures. We will contact you if we need to reschedule. We ask that you do not call to check any of the above as our phonelines are pretty busy and we don't want to prevent urgent calls getting through to us.
Our thoughts are with all individuals and businesses who are being adversely affected by both this third lockdown and by COVID-19 itself. Best wishes from all of us at Quantock.
Please read our safety measures before visiting our Bridgwater Practice.
If you are experiencing any symptoms, please stay at home to protect others and yourself. For self-isolation advice visit NHS111 on line at nhs.uk/coronavirus
The Nether Stowey branch will open from 1st March 2021 for appointments only.

We hope we can help
100% care and support from all the team
We began using Quantock Vets when we moved to Bridgwater, have never had a bad experience, we are regular visitors to the vets as have a dog with many medical problems.
He too has some behavioural problems which makes him anxious when visiting the vets due to a bad experience at a previous veterinary surgery, but now he looks forward to going to see everyone at Quantock Vets, and all the team are very good with him and understanding. We have now moved 30 miles away from Bridgwater and continue to use this fantastic surgery for our pets.
going to miss them when i move house
I’ve been or should I say my pets have been seeing Quantock Vets for 17 years, they are all so caring genuine people and they go out of their way to help you. An instance which I will always be grateful, Billy my beautiful ginger and white cat was killed on a road and they came to pick him up for me, they are so lovely, thankyou everyone.
After a number of unsatisfactory consultations and treatments at other veterinary institutions, we arrived at the Quantok Veterinary Hospital with a seriously ill dog. Within 2 hours, all necessary tests had been completed and corrective surgery carried out. Although the dog is not yet fully recovered, we’d like to commend the QVH for 3 critical aspects of it’s work, firstly the high level of skill applied to a complex problem, secondly, the obvious level of care and affection shown by the staff to their animal patients and finally, the understanding and compassion by the staff to inform and reassure worried owners. We are deeply pleased with all aspects of the QVH and unreservedly recommend it other pet owners
