Quantock Vets awarded flying colours again by the Royal College
We are delighted to hear that we’ve once again earned the highest accreditation – ‘Small Animal Hospital’ – for standards awarded to veterinary practices by The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Dominic Phillips, one of our Veterinary Surgeons at the Hospital explains “Only 7% of veterinary practices in the country that are part of the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme have this ‘Hospital’ status and we are delighted to be one of them. The three yearly Hospital inspection is a rigorous audit and assessment by inspectors appointed by the RCVS who examine every aspect of our patient care, customer care, premises and equipment, health and safety and staff training. We have a superb team here and they all work so hard to do the very best we can for all our patients and their owners so it’s great to get the result back in acknowledgement of the high standards we work to.”
“We are also very proud that our Nether Stowey branch practice retains its RCVS ‘Core practice’ status – the highest award it can gain for its size and the veterinary work we carry out there.”
