Anaesthetic shortage leads to temporary increased costs of operations

3 Jan 2019 | Practice news

Due to the temporary disruption of supply of anaesthetic gases from the continent, we, like many UK veterinary practices, have had to increase our anaesthetic costs. The shortage – due to a mechanical issue on the production line at a third-party manufacturing facility – should only lead to temporary increased costs to help cover the costs of sourcing alternative supplies whilst the issue is resolved.

Please rest assured that we are reviewing alternatives and plans are in place to ensure the care and safety of all our patients.
